WE G17 magazine in a TM G18c

I just got a TM G18c and the TM magazines have a very messy fill valve. The magazines are also very hard to find anywhere near me. I am wondering if the WE G17 magazines will fit the TM G18c. Will there be any problems with the power of the magazine because the TM only shoots 290 FPS whereas the WE shoots 350. Will the magazine release too much gas per shot and wreck my gun or is the FPS determined by the internals? Thanks

They work fine, a friend of mine only uses WE extended mags in his TM Glock. Also the g17 and g18 use the same mag.
