Semi Auto Shotgun

Since pps has the Xm26 comes up in airsoft market after movie Salvation had it used years ago, wondering when will we have this semi auto shotgun clone up from Maruzen one?

The Maruzen M1100 series was never really available in Canada because the FPS is too low. You could get some people to import it, but retailers didn't really carry it because it's stock FPS is in the 300-280fps range and gets lower the more bbs you pack into the shell.

The design was ok, but not terrifically strong and it could only be run on duster which sucks! No real upgrade parts were made for it either and it was next to impossible to find replacement parts if the stock parts broke. Further to this, they were not compatible with real steel shotgun parts like the Tanakas were.

If they made a propane/CO2 version, then we might see them flying around, but again, those airsoft guns are more of a gimic because they throw shells. Very cool, but shell catch bags or losing shells is not cool at all.

That's why I'm waiting for whoever would take this challenge to clone and redesign the next generation of SEMI AUTO SHOTGUN from Maruzen in the near future. Aps has a decent hand pump with its own design, but pps one is based on Tanaka and seems getting better and better. I really hope pps would have something surprise us, or even aps too. Just saying!!

Agreed, only the APS shell design is stupid IMO. It's ridiculous to have to use a special tool to refill them instead of just plugging in your gas or CO2 charger in the back of them. Plus, the APSs are far too expensive for what they are...again IMO.
