Marushin M1 Garand

Anybody have one of these? Im thinking about getting it but i have a few questions.

a) is there a power upgrade available so that it can take Green Gas and increase the fps?

b) is the gun semi automatic like the real steel or is it bolt action? if its bolt action is there a way to make it semi?

Thanks for the information guys. I admit to being a Newb to airsoft so please no flaming.

No, as of now there aren't upgrades for it, and it is indeed semi-automatic.

It's also shell-ejecting. Hope you like chasing expensive casings through the grass...

He means mag ejecting. Doesn't eject shells cause it doesn't have shells.

Broken I'd stick to an aeg for your 1st gun, and get an m1 after if you plan on a ww kit or just like it that much.

The hudson one is just a replica, doesnt fire bb's according to the link that you sent. Would have been cool tho.

As for my first gun im getting my WW2 kit all at once, M1 Garand (Marushin probably), M1A1 Thompson (Tokyo Marui), Colt 1911 (havent decided which company yet).

I love the M1, the only problem I might have is that the gas is internal. But then again I have no idea how many shots it will last for. Anyone know?

there's a HUUUUGE thread on this gun over at Arnies.. as always, search function is your homeslice.

btw i've handled it (not shot it) and it feels relatively like an overgrown M1 Carbine... When I looked down the sights I got MOHAA flashbacks =)
