Rails or grips for TM AUG High Cycle
Had a game today and took a fall. Bottom rail of my AUG snapped off. While, it doesn't affect performance, I'm hoping to find a replacement. Does anyone know of rails that could fit the high cycle AUG? Or simply where to get replacement parts for it?

Where did it break?
The way this is made, I think you might have broken the barrel, and not the rail itself. If you broke one of the two flanges with a hole that the rail is attached to, that's barrel base. Unfortunately, I only found Evike that stocks a replacement. You have to buy a complete outerbarrel assembly, and take it appart. The parts for APS and JG AUG will fit, but might need to be fitted. You can also try to contact someone in Japan to get a TM replacement. |

I see now. Yeah that's the front part of the barrel. You can either use it as is, or salvage the rear part of the barrel with the hopup and try to get a new front barrrel/flashhider/rail section.

Actually no, Jeff that's the added rail section.
You can remove it and install a standard AUG vert grip. Or you can get the factory rail. (Don't know from where). If you had a longer barrel there are a few kits that attach to the grip mount and barrel and give you a long rail. |

Hunh? It's the part of the barrel that locks into the receiver. Technically not the barrel, it's what's between the front and rear barrel sections.

Thanks for the suggestions! I can poke out the bottom rail section as what Kos-Mos said, so I believe it's possible to find a replacement rail. However, seeing how the proper AUG factory rail is over $200, that might be a hard thing to digest!
Currently, I'm planning to simply glue the broken section back. Any suggestions on a brand of glue I should use? |
