Classic army Fal grip compatability
I have a classic army SA58 and the base plate on the pistol grip snapped and left me with some shoddy alternatives.
I've been looking for a replacement FAL grip or M249 saw grip(if they fit) So my question is can I replace the grip with a G&P(or other brand) saw grip? I haven't been able to find any airsoft fal grips. Should I be expanding my search to ebay.uk for a real one and take the risk with a dremel? I can't see the mounting hardware/process in any pictures, and my searches typically bring up real steal forums. Edit: the grip screws in like a GBBR, one long screw from bottom to top To add more info I have a Daytona kit to fit said grip over, so no motor space is necessary. However it does have a big metal bulge about 1"x2" to work with. I have dremeled an AK gbbr grip to fit, but it just isnt flush with the lower receiver and it isn't up to sellable standards. I've also used washers as a crude base plate for the time being. Again, not up to snuff. Thanks in advance Last edited by Hughes; October 12th, 2014 at 13:51.. |
