Maruzen APS L96 problems
Two problems:
The small screw inside the mag well area for rotating the barrel and tighten the mag release is completely stripped and I can't get it out. Before I try to get it out I would like to know if anyone knows the size of this screw so I can get a replacement. Second, the bolt got stuck and I needed to really rip on it to get it out (stupid, I know) and when I finally got it out I ended up ripping the tops off the two screws that attach the bolt handle to the cylender (?). I guess they got loose somehow and then got stuck inside. Anyway what's the best way get the rest of the screw out and anyone know what size these screws are? I can take pictures if I explained this wrong, I am a noob. Thanks in advance. |

I pulled it out a bit so you can see where it screws from. On the inside piece you can see the left overs of the screw. The other hole and the screw left overs. |

Anyone? Please?
Anyone with a OK kit can help me, or even a stock L96. I just need someone to take it apart and find the size of the screw so when I destroy it I will know what to replace it with. I hope it's not too much hassle. |

You will have to get a upgraded cylinder, the Teflon one from what I understand is the strongest. WGC should have it in stock. If your gun is upgraded the higher spring tension makes your arm pull downwards on the bolt and can break the screws, so be careful and good luck.
*edited- Caps Lock is your friend as long as you don't OVER USE IT....* |
