Condor Cyclone or Banshee ????

Looking at getting a plate carrier since I don't have one yet.

It has to be light and breathable!

Anyone here have real life experience with the Condor or Banshee? Pros and cons.

I've found condor stuff to be heavier than the higher end stuff.. if you can deal with the weight and you're on a budget... condor isn't bad.. it fills the need.

If you got scratch to drop on the nice stuff, it definitely is nicer. The banshee isn't terribly expensive vs say like lbt.

I haven't seen that exact carrier, but my experience with condor has been ok with the bits I used and what my friends use.

I have experience with both. Go Banshee or go home.

As stated above, Condor is heavy. Not to mention the quality of their gear is fairly crappy, especially compared to that of TAG, LBT, Crye, EI, BFG and all of those other hard-hitting tactical gear companies.

When looking at the price difference between the Banshee and let's say the Condor MOPC, it's an easy choice for the Banshee especially if you can find one that is lightly used for a fraction of the price.

In my own opinion, the gears durability is more important then the price. Sadly that means that the price is typically higher, but it's worth it when you can have one vest with a lifetime warranty vs something that MIGHT last 5 years if you're lucky.

Vote toward the Banshee. Quality, weight, fit, etc. is all superior to the Conderp made gear. You won't regret it.

I have the Cyclone and have used a buddy's Banshee, they are almost identical in build. The Cyclone is USA made and definitely a step above the rest of the Condor line up in terms of quality. I have worn mine at work, and at games for 5 months now and no sign of wear yet.

I haven't tried wearing a vest at work, yet?
