Requesting vest ID help.
This vest was bought for me many years ago. It has plate pockets both front and back in the outside, and on the inside it has Velcro closures for armour inserts.
I'd like to find a replacement but don't even know the type, as the label has long since worn off, and have no idea what to even Google. Could someone tell me what kind of vest this is, and what sort of prices I should expect to pay, minus any inserts? Thanks for any advice. |

That is a British issue Enhanced Combat Body Armour cover in UN blue. From your photo it does not look like the Kevlar filler or the hard trauma plates are present.

Thank you very much. There never was a filler with this vest, and the trauma plates are sitting happily in my closet.
I've seen this vest a couple of times in surplus stores here in Canada. Were they issued here? My last GF paid something like $60 for it. Is that decent, or did she get screwed? |
