The Systema TW5 is the best. I think there's one for sale on here.

Well you need to figure out if you want an AEG or gas gun.
Gas is more viable indoors and is hella fun. Then you narrow down to VFC vs WE MP5. |

Tokyo Marui makes MP5s as well.
I've got an old MP5 RAS that I bought off another member here, which is stock as far as I know, and runs just fine (as long as the battery is charged). The gun is probably close to 10 years old now, and was my primary for indoor games last season. |

Well if you aren't in a rush, WE made a MP5A2 that's seemingly more affordable then VFC.
Also note that WE has a lot of aftermarket support for their weapons regardless of a WE vs VFC debate. Just need to find a retailer to import them and not boost their MSRP by 200% Edit: early pictarz http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=161574 Last edited by BioRage; February 27th, 2014 at 17:48.. |

G&G MP5 SD6 TOP tech model, I can vouch for it.

If you gut and replace the compression system, Cymas are pretty goddamn good.
CA B&T series still hold their place for best overall inside/ outside quality relative to price from what I understand. G&Gs (esp the traded Umarex re-brands) are very nice guns, but a few of their parts are failure prone and suffer some body based compatibility issues. In my head, the next MP5 I build will be a CA B&T, but since I know that I'm frugal and impulsive it will probably actually end up being a Cyma. I've just been that happy with my SD6. Whatever you do, buy a full-stock one if the thought of wobble upsets you. I personally don't care, but I've never handled a collapsible MP5 that didn't wiggle or give evidence of future wiggling. Breast-boning an MP5 in 2nd stage around corners has it's benefits though, YMMV. |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Systems TW5 dominates all, indoor, outdoor, whatever. Also though, they are quite pricey.

"Best" can mean a lot of things, depending on who you ask. For me, the best AEG of anything, is the one with good externals and TM compatible internals.
Every AEG I own has been opened at least once. Everything that can be tuned for max performance was tuned. Everything that was lacking was replaced. This is why, if you ask me what is the best MP5, I'll answer Classic Army (with a metal body) if you can find it in rebate, or a Cyma NON-blowback. |
