Recommendation for a variable low magnification scope
Hey guys I was looking for a 1.5x-5x32 or something around that range that could be used with both eyes open.
found this on airsoft parts... http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=2618 but I'm a little sketched out as I cannot find any info or reviews on it. Is it better to go RDS and 3x magnifier? this is for an mp5 in a indoor setting so I would like both settings for cqb and people who camp the walls. What are your thoughts? Looking to spend under 150$ preferably but il look at all options |

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

In that price range, check out NC-Star. Quality and durability, at a moderate cost. Better than airsoft grade as well.

The eye relief on that model is incredible, and it gives a crystal clear sight picture from 1.5x to 4x. Check it out. |

I'm currently running a Leapers / UTG Accushot 1-4x28 scope with 5.5" of eye relief. I can shoot both eyes open at 1x and with my cat-tail, can go 4x pretty quickly.
I actually just ordered a Novel Arms Tac One (Nightforce NXS 1-4x24), will be trying that out with an RMR on top. |

I've been looking at a couple of other low magnification scopes, mostly Vism's or Visions Kings but the Novel Arms seems to be pretty elusive. I haven't been able to find a source for them outside of Japan or a dealer willing to ship out of Japan. |

CQB, I'd say stick with a plain red-dot.
If you must, add a flip to side magnifier. I run one on my MK18 and I love it. The quality is impressive for a sub 100$ optic. I don't remember the brand though.

I just got rid of my flip-to-the-side. I can't say I was really a fan. Variable zoom from 1x and up, with good eye relief. That's my recommendation.

Check out the Vector Arbiter. For Airsoft purposes it is a bargain compared to others. It looks almost exactly the same as the Milet DMS1. Some say it is an OEM clone but I have no idea if it's true.

Recoil resistant and price seems like a steal, I actually like the crosshairs more on the Vector. What's the eye relief on it?

The Vector Arbiter is a RS optic so it should be quite shock resistant. A colleague of mine mounts his on a 308 rifle without issue. I would say the eye relief is about 3.5 to 4". There is an ever-so-slight magnifcation on the 1X setting but it is not enough to make it difficult to sight with two eyes open. Keep in mind that no zoom scope will ever achieve a true 1X image but the 1X setting on the Arbiter is close. The image clarity is excellent throughout the zoom range.
I got mine during the winter so I haven't gamed it yet. The extent of my testing has been limited to "room clearing" in my house and peeping out my windows. A thread from a while back discussing 1-4X optics: http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=137817 |

$2300 USD. Yikes.
So I got the Novel Arms Tac One and I have to say the Leapers 1-4x28 is substantially better, both are excellent optics though. For what it's worth I didn't mind the Vision King 1.25-5x26 or whatever it was. |
