Night vision magnifiers
Which night vision magnifier will you recommend, say for use behind an EOtech?
Something cheap ideally. Ideally flush fitting, so it doesnt stand too tall above the EOtech. I don't know if anyone offers rail mount products in this category other than RS products, but I guess you can retrofit a fixture yourself and mount in a standard NV monocular. In that case, what is the smallest size Gen1/gen2 NV monocular around? Last edited by zzzzsleepy8; February 11th, 2014 at 12:43.. |

Does your EOTech have a NVG setting?
If so PVS-14 is by far and away the only choice. Tons of them for sale on here on a regular basis.

Yeah. It basically turns the sight from red to green.
I havent gone through the process of age verifying and stuff so I cant see the sales section. But how much will they cost used? Does the sightmark work? http://www.sightmark.com/sm16012.html Won't be as pretty or work as well as the PVS14 for sure but its an option. |

Yeah its el-cheapo version. My AEG is a wall hanger. Doesnt see any action. Not even at home. Just in the mood to accessorize it a bit more.

A night vision scope is a bit of an investment for a wall hanger, don't you think?
Just get anything fake that looks like a NVG and call if a day if it doesn't see much use. |

$400 thermal monocular with no focus, a microbolometer that can't be on for more than 15min straight or it overheats, and a temperature resolution of 3 degrees.
