Mixing parts on Glock 19 and Glock 23
Hey everyone, after reading some old posts on the whole "KSC Glock 19 vs. KJW Glock 23 FMV" topic, I've gathered quite a bit of information.
Apparently, the KSC Glock 19 is much better than the KJW Glock 23 in terms of overall quality, such as accuracy, range, power, and reliability. So I'm sold on the Glock 19 now, but then there is only one problem: I want my Glock to have full trademarks, and the KSC only has fake trades. But then I discovered that WGC sells KJW Glock 23 frames (with glock trades). (http://www.wargameclub.com/pcart/sho...G23LF_srch_G23) My question is, can you take the internals (and all other parts like Magazines, and the slide) of the KSC Glock 19 and pop them into the frame of the KJW Glock 23? Over time, I'd also buy a metal slide, and upgrades springs, valves, and so forth. Do you suppose it's worth all the effort? Is KJW really all THAT bad compared to a KSC? Or would I be better off just buying a KJW Glock 23 FMV right from the start? Only trouble is, if I just got the KJW I'd have to put up with the lower quality accuracy, range, power, and reliability, and that just scares me. |

The KSC and KJW are two completely different designs. You cannot switch the internals between KSC and KJW.
If you really want FULL REAL trades, get the KJW. If you want the best Glock with close to real trademarks get a KSC G19, put a G&G metal slide on it, and put Hogue grips on to cover the lack of the Glock frame logo. I own lots of KSC Glocks including 3 G19s, and I also own 2 KJW G23 FMVs with the full trades. I rarely shoot my KJWs in fear they will snap in half. Also the trades on the KJW metal slide are quite shallow. The G&G slide for the KSC G19s are amazing. I feel that the KSC G19 is the far superior Glock. |

Hmmm, yeah guess I have no real choice then. Oh well, that's not too bad, at least the slide will have full trademarks
