e's Tokyo Marui Glock 17: "The Shuey Custom"

Man...

My search is over!

I've finally re-acquired my most favorite slide of all time!!!
Well... as far as I can tell anyways. Dunno the make of this slide

If I had to guess, it's probably an Airsoft Surgeon one.
Clarence was one of the only few who made these slides. THe latter being BoomArms and Creation but theirs had a different color schema.

The only other other person that made this exact slide was ILLusion Kinetics.
It's out of production now but i wouldn't rule out that possibility as well.

(ASK Spike on ASC from Privateer Airsoft. He probably knows. I got the slide from him.)

Anyways...

This is another take on Tokyo Marui's Glock 17.
Enjoy!

This slide is based on Gene Shuey's designs for custom pistols.
THe look and feel of this particular is one of the BEST i have ever worked on.
Whoever made it was keen on the details.

It's much heavier than the standard aluminum slides and the stroke is just....PHENOMENAL to say the least.

...and it's a DUO TONE SLIDE!!!!
Can't get any sexier than that!

The slide is mounted on a black Guarder 2013 European frame. It has the "EU' markings which is a bit different than the standard/typical "US" markings we see here in North America.

Marrying this frame to the lower portion internals was... interesting. It required much more work than the old versions (which is....whatever)

The slide is very blocky. Moreso than the normal slide.
The front portion is ribbed for grip registration to charge the gun while the rear is flared.

Of Course, this wouldn't be my so-called pistol if it didn't have all the right parts in the right places.

The gun is rigged with steel internals.
THe sear, the hammer, the hand controls, the outer barrel and the recoil rod are steel.

The loading muzzle is metal as well. It sucks though. Don't buy one. Stick to the Airsoft Surgeon ones. LOL

My Detonator XS Big Dot sights haven't arrived yet so I'm using the stock night sights the gun came with.

But it should arrive soon. And hopefully, I won't need to modify them..

The slide was re-vamped with some light sanding and some Mother's polish from Canadian Tire. Pretty good but I could've done a better job. For now, at least it's shiny...

The Kit List:

-APS ACP Blowback Unit
-Shuey Custom Duo Tone Caspian Slide (unknown make. Ask Spike on ASC)
-Guarder Steel Outer Barrel
-Guarder Enhanced 150% recoil spring
-Guarder Enhanced 150% hammer spring
-Guarder Steel Magazine catch
-Guarder Slide Catch
-Guarder Slide Lock
-Action Recoil Spring guide w/ Precision Miniature Bearing
-KM Stainless Steel Sear
-KM Stainless Steel Valve Knocker (firing pin)
-KM High output magazine blowoff valve
-GunsModify Zero Hammer (v3)
-Army Force Metal Loading Muzzle
-RCC Power Up Cyclinder Bulb for Marui Glock
-PDI Piston Head (winter)
-PDI 6.01 Precision Inner Barrel
-A+ Hop Up Bucking w/ hop up assist

...I think that's all of it.

This gun chronies at 345-350 FPS on .20g and Propane.

MANY MANY MANY thanks to Spike at Privateer Airsoft for the slide, ARC-74 for the barrel and Turok_T for the support. It is much appreciated.

That's all for now.
See you next build, folks!

Dude, each time I see one of your Glock, it's harder and harder to keep that allegiance I have against them. That pistol is fantastic.

Your barrel is going through the same polishing procedure as we speak!

That gun is awesome.
I had real problems with the metal nozzle and gun was to come back to me to change back to stock tm but it never came back.

It cuaased me to start build my own. But that's the best slide I've ever felt on an airsoft glock.

I once went to look for mice rattling around in my storage shed.
Caspian Glock on hand. Unholstered. Finger on the trigger. Torch up.

Pop one right between the eye in one shot at 15ft with the little fucker trying to run from my gat.

True story. True story.
