How accurate is this website on the importation of airsoft rifles?
I recently came across this page on a website I was considering ordering from:
http://www.airsplat.com/canada-airsoft.htm It says that airsoft guns that shoot between 366-407 fps are uncontrolled and allowed. I've read many threads on this forum saying that even if its allowed, it will still be seized and I'll have to pay to test the FPS on it before its released. Anyway is this information accurate? And has anyone had experience ordering airsoft rifles from this website or rifles that shoot 366-407fps from the States?? I've been meaning to get age verified for a while now but its a huge pain in the ass since no one near my area answers their PMs. Last edited by Warnipple; January 31st, 2014 at 23:26.. |

Just walk into a Canadian brick n mortar store and buy it and take it home. Save yourself the shipping charges, custom fees and a seizure.

You don't have to pay them to test it, however you will have to write a letter explaining each and every gun you buy. like SuperHog stated, support brick and mortar, they did all the hard work bringing it in, least you can do is support um

I would like to support our Canadian retailers however they don't carry the item I want (at least at my area).
I want a WE GBB PMC AK and AFAIK only milsig sells it and its twice the price of an American seller. Comparison: $780 http://www.milsig.ca/airsoft-guns-we...k-rifle-p-3004 $320 http://www.evike.com/products/37441/ At times like these it seems better to just roll the dice and have CBSA chrono test it for me. Unless an airsoft store can import for me? In the past, I've ordered a Tokyo Marui electric M9 from Japan and that was seized which is why I'm on the fence on ordering this one from an American seller. I've read somewhere that the upper limit is 500, is that what you mean? And I'll go update my profile now. Last edited by Warnipple; February 1st, 2014 at 01:33.. |

Well since you live in TO, there are plenty of AVers and other options besides Milsig. There is a certain store that AV's and has the rifle you want at a good price-- better then cost+shipping+duties etc. I would link it but this is a non AV'd section.

Ah derp, I'll go work on getting AV'd then. Unfortunately torontoairsoft is going on a move right now so I can't go to them to get AV'd.
I've sent a message to Torontoairsoft asking if they could import it for me though. |

I would personally wait for them to finish moving, go get AV'd, and see if they have it in stock.
Who knows, your item could get held for a fair few months in customs.

ArmyIssue is in port credit as well and he's always working. He will sell you pants while you are there and his charming smile always wins over your wallets loyalty while you are there.

As a heads up with Canadian retailers, using milsig to compare prices is a bad idea. Their prices are... well...
"milsig pricing" is now slang for holyshitthisisoverpriced.

Alright well on the Evike site, they offer a service to chrono the gun and send in some documents for importing into Canada. I'm going to try this instead of paying $650 from the next cheapest Canadian seller.

and have you checked the classifieds? Oh wait we're not even sure if you're 18, so we cant even help you get age verified. also Milsig is the WORST site to look up canadian prices on any airsoft gun or related things |
