Which (cheap) NVG mounts will accomidate a GPNVG-18?
Hey everyone,
First and foremost, I am not an NVG user so I apologise profusely for my blinding ignorance to any of you who are. I bought a pair of dummy GPNVG-18s from ehobby (http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/fma-gpnvg...724-black.html) a few weeks back during a sale because a) they look cool and b) they were cheap. I don't plan on using them for gaming - mostly for costuming purposes. Also, I will be mounting these on FAST and BUMP helmets. My question is, which mounts will accommodate these goggles? I have found a couple possibilities, but their pricetags run a little high: http://airsoft-club.com/shop/night-v...o-arm-mount-bk and http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...ducts_id=15754 http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/fma-helme...nvg-black.html I also found this modification of a much cheaper Rhino mount: GPNVG-18 to Rhino Mount Modification - YouTube If anyone knows any OTHER mounts that will also work, that would be great! |

butthurt for not having a user title

I know nearly nothing about NVG mounts, but if they're anything like mounts for other optics, you definitely don't want to cheap out n them.

Don't bother getting anything nice. You bought fake NVG so just buy a fake mount for it. If it ever falls off, just pick your plastic "hood ornament" off the floor and put it back on.

You'll be spending about $100 to find a mount that will hold that up.
Cool costs.

Actually that INVG replica on ehobby for $67 IS cheap.
To give you an idea for comparison, real steel mounts run anywhere from $400-$900 new. These things are not the easiest things to make and there's little demand for them, so finding one under $60 may be difficult. Try evike? |

I can't understand people that buy something that has 0 use in a game. It's unneeded weight and bulk. Save that money and buy a bag of bbs
