serpa all the way.

if you question why...

buy a nylon drop leg, and after you lose a couple mags, you'll know why.

Soft holsters suck, badly. That being said I own one because it is better than nothing (barely) and I can always lend it out to a friend.

Personally my favorite holsters are the G-Code products. One problem though is they only fit proper sized replicas, so in other words, you can only use :

-real guns
-KWA ptp's
-anything else that fits...

If you try and put a gun from WE, KJW, TM, or many other brands, into a real holster (Gcode or safari land like the guy above me suggested) it won't fit because it is too big.

Personally I bought the Gcode holster because it was well made, lifetime warranty, modular, and offers good resale - even though I bought it for airsoft / my KWA Glock 17 (ATP), if I ever decide to sell it, I can sell it to a real glock owner.

Main point Of my post is this :

-don't go buying an expensive nice holster if your gun won't fit in it.
-fabric holsters typically suck, but some are nice.

If you really need a holster try an hsgi taco lol seriously they work great for anything including holsters

+1

I have a couple real ones (or so I was told by the sellers), and a repro, for my M9s.
The repro is a little bit too tight for my M9, and more importantly, the little pin that acts as the axle for the release mechanism, keeps sliding out. It's hard to explain without a picture, but it prevents the pistol from locking in place unless I push the pin back in every so often.

My repro one will probably get better if I wear it in more, and use some glue or something to keep the pin from sliding out.

KJW and TM will fit in a serpa, you just have to sand down a few bits inside the serpa to make room, the TM style is just slightly wider in some spots of the frame. In fact, I tried a kjw 229 in my serpa and it fit almost perfectly, just snug that it would rub paint moreso than if it just fit.

If I take a pic of my kwa 226, you'll see that even a good replica (and probably the real steel) will rub in the same spots. But that adds character. You don't buy a ferrari to masturbate on in your driveway. It's meant to be driven.

Likewise for airsoft guns if you play... guns are meant to be shot.

You can get a CQC serpa for about half the price of a leg rig one and get the strike plate to mount it on any molle of your choice... for less than a level 2 leg rig but the serpa leg rig is so ridiculously comfortable and tight to your leg that it will not bounce around like a molle leg rig or nylon holster, and as a result, will never bounce around to trigger the mag release to drop a mag while you're running or crawling.
