Ripped Off. Need Help.

Alrighty, Fed up with being ignored & not getting any replies on a deal that I did with a user on here so taking this public.

I went through on a deal with the user ASSASSIN 2015 (Actual name: *Blanked out for the next few days*) , I paid him for an item via money order, he said he had received the money order & had shipped the item (regular post, August 2nd ) to me.

I later find out that he lied about the date he shipped it, and then he claimed to have shipped it 5-6 days later then he originally said he would. (Aug 8th)

As of Aug 28 nothing has arrived, I know regular post is slow but come on, 20 days? Ya something is NOT right. He claims to have been away at "CFB Petawawa".

I then contact him asking for a refund of my money since I then know he hasnt shipped the item. He agree's to do a direct deposit to my account on Aug 31st. Guess what, Still nothing.

I try calling his house, Noone answers anymore, I have a strong feeling he is now screening my calls & expecting me to just go away, I think NOT.

So ya, that now leaves me very angry at this person & out of 75 hard earned dollars. Thats bullshit.

At this time I dont care about the privacy of this person ,You screwed me over & Im not going to let you get away with this.

If someone in his area could possibly contact him or anything it would be greatly appreciated.

Also, If someone could tell me exactly what I can do to get my money back from this person, I would be extremely grateful. I will take any & all legal action that I can.

CFB petawawa mostly a military base.. so I doubt hes a youngin or at very least 16years old. none the less very immature. I tried to call for you BC_K but no one answered. I didn't have a plan to resolve this but I wanted to see if he lied to you saying he isnt home. Thats all that I can do.. From where I am, sorry.

finally got a reply from the seller, Will wait till approx Tuesday before making any more comments. To anyone that was willing to offer assistance, Do hold off on it for now. Thank you.

Yes, good luck telling the police the 70 hard earned dollars were for a Silencer or Magazines for your airsoft gun.

Well the police won't care what its for unless its illgeal. Airsoft is perfectly legal. I hope u saved all the past emails and PMs you got from him as evidence.

Just read the post about small claims. Thanks for the info I never knew that. Couldn't you also demand that the offender pay for court costs. Like on TV, I don't know much about small claims because Civics only covered criminal justice.

Regardless, it is not a police matter it is a Small courts matter. It costs $40 to file a claim at small courts. It is a very simple process and they give you the chance to settle out of court before that date. Actually getting the court papers in the mail 99% of the time will sort the person out enough to get the matter resolved.

Unfortunatly for your situation, being owed $75 filing in small claims would cost you more than half of what you're owed. But if it comes down to the principle of the fact, it's an option.

For people being scammed for more money (like buying an AEG) this is a more financially reasonable option.

Im sure I can arrange an 'intervention' for all this kids scamming needs.

Wow i just checked his postal code on Map quest and he lives fairly close to me, if he is the right age i think he might be in my high school.
