Serpa holster on molle vest
First time I lost a magazine from my 1911 on a Condor holster. Really pissed.
Has anyone mounted a Serpa type holster on their vest? The area I have my holster mounted only has three vertical columns of molle available to use. |

♥ LOVES helmets! ♥
Don't shoot me more than 10 times or I'll charge you! |
The holster will be shot allot more. And after awhile be pitted.

you only need 2 vertical strips and I used to mount mine horizontally on my IBA. It's actually a really good spot for it if your PC has enough rigidity to stop it from punching you in the chest when you run.

I had mine mounted on the side of my vest for a while, no issues, but I like it on my leg more than the vest. Also I need the molle space on my vest for other stuff.

This item has more stability than just threading MOLLE through a holster; expensive but effective.

How'd the Magazine fall out? Was it not velcro'd/buckled in?

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

The mag likely fell out of the gun due to the holster pressing on ghe mag relese.
Try cutting a notch in the holster to prevent it from hitting the relese. I have had to do this to every cordura holster i have for my m9

http://www.ventureairsoft.ca/item.ph...c43ea1ae435433 I run the holster on my right side of the MCR4 vest. I tried the drop leg holster and hated it. It may work for others, but not me. |

I am going to take your suggestion about the notch, but going to a hard holster is be a better way. Last edited by SuperHog; August 14th, 2013 at 17:06.. |

Your gun will also get damaged the more you use it. and your boots will get dirty if you wear them, your vest will cease to be shiny and new every time you wear it to a game. really man? |

same type of person that would buy a ferarri and not drive it? just park it in a parking lot and talk about it and encourage others to masturbate all over it?

It's not a problem if you position all the gear properly.

Yeah, never had a problem reloading the mag for the pistol. I have a triple M4 stacker in front, and the pistol mag pouches on the front of them. Easy to reach.
Danke is right. All of my components are position where I can instinctively reach them without even looking. Last edited by SuperHog; August 14th, 2013 at 19:56.. |
