Threads like this deserve pictures :P
Sorry to hear about that though. That is quite the critical failure, you were not trying to fill it with C02 were you?

And no I was not filling it with CO2. Just regular propane with some oil in it.

Thats messed up.
But i can say tho my gen 1 mags had leaking issues my gen 2 onez have been beat on prety good (including droping em on cement floors) and i have a bunch of buddies who beat on theirs too (that didnt fully come out right lol) and i havent seen that yet. (this is on m4 mags) not sure how often this happens but i dont think its all that common. Did you leave it in the heat or drop it or something?

Out of curiosity were you dropping your mags a lot?

NOPE! No droppage at all! It was the first time I used them in a game. It was actually at Nightfall 2. Our team was getting ready in the morning, I had 7 mags I was filling up... Im placing them all on the ground in front of me... next thing you know ALL of us here this POP. I look down and one of the mags jumped about a foot! I try to refill it and it comes out of that crack as fast as its going in the valve. I was sooooo angry. It happened later on that day as well. They were in the sun, but maybe for 10 minutes max.

3rd time I seen this happen. Try not to leave much gas in the mag.

What actually happened was I did not see the crack initially. I thought it was just leaking because an o-ring blew or something. So I bought some gasket maker, took the mag apart (still didnt see the crack!) and tried to seal it closed. When I tried to refill it after the gasket maker was dry, I still heard the exact same gas escape at the same speed. I then took a closer look a second time and saw the crack. So all that work for nothing LOL!
