Hopup Nub Help.

Just wondering about the nub. I replaced my previous hopup rubber and nub with a Modify Baton Ryusoku, and slowly pushed the hopop arm with the rubber into the hop up assembly and re assembled it together.

Ive seen people glueing there nubs onto the hopuup arm though. Is this neccessary? Should i take mine apart and put a dab of superglue on it? Never replaced one before.

Can i use a small amount to lube the outside of my rubber to slide on the hopup unit?

If it is pure silicone you can use a lil to assist in installation. Not too much tho you dont want the rubber to swell and you dont want to get the oil on the inside of the rubber itll make the hop up not hop much at all. Most cases if h9u are doing it in the right order (rubber on barrel. Slide into hop unit. Reassemble hop arm and such with nub.) itll go the gether fine. Sometimes with a lil persuation.
Edit. Use this if you gotta

Spit works better. It dries after its installed. Also, be sure to wash your rubber in a mild dish soap first.
