chest rig setup
is this an acceptable setup.
I decided to go to a nee chest rig. What i wind up with is not enough space for some reason (odd because it has 6 mags pouches built in but lacks a bib like my old rig but whatever lol) Is this normal to wear a chest rig and a big ass battle belt below for some extra realestate for my dumper and radio and a cpl misc things or should i just find s rig that works beter. It is not uncomfortable but its twice the crap to put on snd get out of and im still lacking in good placement of some pouches and such. So here is a pic befor i retry to out all my crap on again for the fith time lol

From what I have learned, "Acceptable" is whatever works best for you, even if it looks silly to others.

Split your mags and essentials between your first line (belt) and second line(rig).
First line should never come off, so you can jump up and fight as you are. A small chest rig is what I now run but as you noticed from the last event we were at, I dropped my second line mid way through and had enough to fight with just first line kit. (I did move some pouches around but was not bulky) |

Scrap the rig and get a ghillie suit. You will need to hide when your mom sees how messy your room is

Just need my doberman to take up a quarter of your bed and you're set

My king dobe (befor he died) used to take up 3/4 lol he was 120lb.
Got no mom (scince i was 5) and the whole basement is mine so dad doesnt come down n bug me too much lol. I have a cpl ghillies they wont help with my general assult kit tho lol. Yeah im thinkin ima just get a bigger rig (one with a bib and back pannel) issue is they are all a lil loose on me in the stomach/waist area. I figure i can wear the smaller battle belt i have under it to snug it up

I have only one suggestion and that is to get the HSGI Sure Grip Battle Belt, it will make all other battle belts look and feel like toys and it will make you want put more pouches, etc. on your belt... it is that much better than most other belts.
ASC member Stealth recommended it to me a few months back and I am so glad I purchased it.

Yeah i scrapped the idea. Just gonna go back to the rig ive been running with the addition of a hydro pack that has some molle on it to handle my radio and a few lil other things.
So itll be a belt with a dumper and drop leg for my pistol and the radio and antenna on my hydro pack and my admin pouch on my bib space for 10 mags a flashlight and two nades on the chest rig. Knife on the left shoulder along with my red led glowstick. The battle belt wilo retain its original function. Its holds my sniper gear. Mags pistol smokes.
