About Spec Arms.
Hello everyone i'm new to this site, let me introduce myself i have been interested in this hobby for a long time and i recently reached the age of 18 so i'm just gathering up info on this new hobby. It says on the very first page of spec arms that the tokyo marui airsoft guns are only available to firearm retailers? Does this mean the tm models are not available to the public? Can someone who has bought marui models off spec arms please give me info on if the tm models can be bought? Thank You

Not sure how you misinterpreted that.. At any rate, I would take that to mean that you can still buy other brands if you are not a ""firearms dealer". Have never purcahsed from them. I buy from people on the board, and Trumart!

This is specific to B.C. ONLY!
The CFC (IIRC) have done tests on ONLY TM guns and have determined that only TM guns are restricted. So, Will can sell ICS, G&G, CA, etc. The CFC has to test and make a ruling on each specific gun compnay. So, there are shiloads of TM guns still avialable from other retailers. -Saryet, out!-

I think that disclaimer was from the past when it looked like they were classifying TM products as "Replicas" because of the trademarks. I don't think they remembered to take it down, but I know they have been selling TM products to the general publice (18+).
SpecArms is closed for the time being and won't be open till mid September. |

Actually if you looking for an armalite, ICS make some real nice ones. Past that, just order from Tru if you want a TM gun.
For the most part, Canadian gun laws and Airsoft are pretty confusing to follow, so its best not to try to understand unless you have a pretty good background in Law. |
