M-16A2 with M203

M-16A2 with M203

Calling all grenadiers!!!
Need Help in decision making

Say hello to my little friend

I will get an M16A2 tomorrow and I am looking to make an M-16A2 like this.

I want this to be

• The most realistic as possible
• Full metal
• Best performance, quality

The last thing I worried is the price

After looking and reading in this forum on the net and Asian store on-line I cam to these option

Here or my options
1. Sun Project M203 Grenade Launcher

http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/trade/productview/1212

2. Or pick out a full metal grenade launcher
G&P M203 Upper Handguard (Long)(BK)

http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/trade/productview/3199

3. ARLL M203 Model Kit (Shoot Version
http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/imagec...view/1599/130/
And what the hell is this
The fact his kit is plastic doesn’t really appeal to me but the fact that is the first time that thing that usually goes on the carry handle is really interesting

I would really appreciate feed back because I am at the buying stage and I am blocked.
Thanks in Advance

I would go with the Sun Project M203. Although, are you sure you want to spend that much money a grenade launcher? With that money I'd rather get a scope, and bipod to be a rifleman or gunner. ;-) Your decision.

Sun Project.

Forget the model Kit, it's good as a cheap battery holder for M4's and thats it. If you try to use it as a launcher it'll be busted in a day.

IF YOU USE A METAL M203, you HAVE to get a metal body and reinforced outter barrel, or devise a way to augment the stock barrel mount to carry the extra weight. I've done two of these guns, the first had no reinforced barrel and suffered extreem accuracy/range degration after just a week. The second was completely metal and never degraded.

Guessing by the fact he said money isn't really a concern, I'm thinking metal body for grenade launcher would = metal body for rifle.

grenade launchers are only really good for indoor CQB.

Not really, I blasted a whack load of guys out of a trench at the old Flag Raiders with one. It's a limited use accessory... but it has it's uses.

Thumbs up

I can recommend G&P M203 Military Version + G&P handguard. I have it mounted on CA M15A2 rifle and although some slight modification to launcher mounts was required, it is rock solid. If money is no concern to you, get G&P quadrant sight and you will get nice complete set :-)

The G&P is metal, although it doesnt come with the vented hand guard. And it has a much better finnish then the SP.
