I was just posting it for impressionists if they were looking for some replicas. Obviously it's not practical for anything else besides impressions.

Why look: Something that's neither $50, nor $40,000!

Where are the other three intensifier tubes / lens / everything else that should make the thing you are linking even slightly related to the topic at hand?

Well i see the appeal for building an "i killed binladin" kit. But it would be nice if it did at least something. Like 2 or 3x's magnification for spotting targets or something else usefull. I guess you could hide some conture hd's in there and film a few different angles.
Good find still.

The GPNVG18 looks cool but i will wait for the "LED" version that's supposed to be out this month. Atleast it has the light function. Anyone have an idea what the wired box does on the current version or is that just for show as well?

4x Contour HD's and stitch the videos together...it would be a panoramic view of awesomeness!
