this has been "comming soon" for a year now. david at airsoft elite in california has the only functional prototype in north america. they have no idea when it's comming except "comming soon"

i guess but i have seen a recent report on arnies that ICS has said coming soon again. so it could be due before this year ends just in time for christmas maybe? :xmas: it does look promising. but it doesnt look like they have a quick and easy way to make spring changes like their M4-Split gearbox series released last year. but they do have a quick takedown to access the gear box =P

Yup all of us Russian impression airsofters have been long awaiting a more affordable modern day replica.
So far though there are alot of unhappy people in the recent replicas. The ICS one has been "Comming soon" for over 4 months now and rumours are the first set of guns made were absolute shiat. The upcoming CA ones have really really terrible markings on them, markings that are from an American AK manufacture and are terrible and gaudy. Not to mention some of the overall design of both AK74's. Many have complained about the looks, things such as body markings and the buttstocks are not correct (At least compared to the Real Steel and even Guarder kits) but, It's nice to see a modern AK and a more decent price.

I dont like the look of the pistol grips on the AKs. They don't look like they belong.

The only thing that irritates me is you cannot get an AKM or AKMS receiver aside from Guarder (and they don't even make the latter), except in one of their exorbitantly-priced kits. This one from G&G originally showed no mag well dimples which was bad. The latest revision has them but they're too shallow compared with the Guarder.

HAha You bastards lol. Luckily i went to the Us airsoft convention in June and was able to shoot the gun Airsoft Elite had. Its a fun gun to shoot, damn accurate at 40 ft, nice and heavy feel, Dont quite remember wat parts were metal. But its a nice gun
