Battle Belt, or Basic Belt?
When you run a LBV or Plate Carrier, do you prefer to run a MOLLE battle belt like this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=3644
Or a more basic one, like this: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...roducts_id=389

I like to run a duty belt with my sidearm on a dropped mount, magazine pouches for my sidearm, a spare rifle magazine, and my multitool. Belt's held onto a simple rigger's belt using belt keepers. I guess it falls in between the two extremes. I do it mostly because I can't stand a dropleg, but at the same time I want to be able to ditch my chest rig and still keep my sidearm.

Buy this. I have a shorter torso so a battle belt doesn't work too well for me depending on what rig I'm wearing. It has webbing on the isnide to hold pouches, holsters, etc. in place.

+1 on the Emdom's CM belt.
Good design and low profile. |

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

Im a smaller guy as well when i wear my chest rig i use a belt (one of the thicker cordura belts 3inch wide i think)
Taller guys would be able to let it hang below the rig to attach other stuff to iflip it up behind the righ and it holds it steady (the strap on the rig itself doesnt tighten enough to hold it snug) and i run my drop leg off of it. Everything else fits on the rig. I also have a battle belt type rig i run when i snipe (its 3 rows of molle most all the way around and has four on the back and five over the hips) it has a built in yoke/suspenders so its baisically a chest rig but its "short" from top to botom. Sill has a fair bit of room to it. But the way its made to sit you couldnt wear a riggers belt with it as it rides low over the hip. A belt is handy to have just in case but it wont work with every setup

Whatever belt you choose, you want to have molle on it. Pouches and stuff attached to a simple duty belt will tend to move around, so it is not always in the place you expect it to be. A battle belt or the Emdom belt linked in dutch's post secure your pouches in place and they are always where you expect them to be.

just got this to try with my Flyye plate carrier
http://www.surpluspontrouge.com/en/b...or-belt/o-d-2/ The plate carrier rides very high so I have very limited molle space available. Looks and feels good, will find out this Sunday how well it does in battle.

That Emdon looks great o.o Yeah, I am a 5'8"-9" player, so I personally run a duty belt attached to my crossdraw vest, just because all it needs to carry is my dump pouch. I just like getting people's opinions

Found my belt to give pretty good back support, very comfy! Though getting all hot and sweaty from running may do the opposite...I'll find out shortly

I had a battle belt/blast belt. Wore it to one game with full rig and then never again. Hated it. Too much padding and stuck out too much interfering withy carrier.
Built a first line rig with it and a custom harness. Played several CQB games with just the battle belt but not sure where I stored it now. Have been mounting directly onto a riggers belt as of late. Airsoftdepot has the Phoenix molle belt (2 rows of molle) that isn't padded and comes with Y harness. Going to try this one and see how it goes with my chest rig. |

I run a Mayflower APC as a plate carrier/LBV.
As a belt I run an ARES Gear Enhanced Ranger belt with Kydex everything (holster, 2x Kydex mag pouches, 1x pistol mag pouch). The whole setup is very low profile and because it's not a floppy riggers or basic belt, nothing flops around - everything is tight against my body. After years of wearing Riggers belts and having my pouches and what-not flap around, my new setup is a godsend. |

If I tuck my shirt in, "normal belt" is an option.
If I wear over my shirt, battle belt. Battlebelt are ment to carry heavy stuff: primary rifle ammo, water, radio, medical, frags... Normal police type belt are for light stuff: pistol and pistol ammo, some small shit.
