Personal presentation and app for airsoft
Hi everyone, I introduce myself, my name is Jon (Wet Dog) and I'm an Airsoft enthusiast. Because of this hobby and my profession (graphic designer) put over the table in my company a project in wich I was thinking for some time, create an app to carry the game to another level. So we started to work in, and on December 28 we release AirScan a real-time tactics application that shows the position of our teammates and allows to send information on the screens of Android smartphones and now, finally, also for IOS.
The usage is simple and intuitive. One member creates the match and the other fellows joins, once selected the team, with a simple click on the screen of your phone can report the enemy positions on the map, to the rest of your teammates in real time. To improve the organization can create groups (Fireteams) within teams. For people who want to try it and see its true potential, there is a trial version for Android (quite limited), IOs don't allow us to release it. I leave here the links on the website and facebook page if you are interested to go deeper. http://www.fubustudio.com/airscan/es/inicio.html https://www.facebook.com/pages/AirScan/323907454372800 Thank you very much for your attention. ;-) |

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

^Thats what im sayin.
I always leave my phone in the car but now. Especially as sniper if i could at oeast get one person on each fire team to carry their android device i could at a glance monitor team positions and know who to advise of enemy movements in their area and also in low light and dense woods id targets as friend or foe with a quick look at my phone. Gonna need to rig up a wrist strap or somethin now lol.

I would definatly use this. Put my phone in my map pouch on my sleeve and go. Kinda like halo or ghost recon I guess but genius. I like tht I can tap and report a position. You can mark out enemy ambush points squads bases. Objectives ect. Gret idea

Looks interesting I will check it out.
! question from looking at the website info. There is a password to join a match (game) is there a password to join a team as well? If not what is keeping a blue team member from joining the red team (through the app) and knowing were every enemy is?

HA! Seriously though, this sounds like a great idea. At the very least something to build on. Is there a way to attach a grid, or a usable live legend? This would be great if it was made to coexist with radio comms, and or marking areas such as FOBs, respawns, etc.

Juggernaut Defense makes a chest mounted (where most people place their admin pouch) flip down rugged case for the Samsung i717 and Motorola Atrix for use by SOF.

so unlike that pathetic 'fairsoft' idea you actually have more than a wish and a photoshopped logo - you have like, real code? and a working alpha?
