what ww2 bolt action rifles are out there
Im looking into getting another rifle, but i have mainly seen in canada the kar98.
I'm just wondering if theres any others to choose from. I would rather the Canadian issued lee enfield. 303 but i was told by a team mate its really rare. I hop you ww2 buffs can give me a hand thx. |

If you're looking for an Enfield, it will have to be a custom build. KTW does make one but its~$1600 and ungameable.
There was a Springfield 1903A3 released not long ago but can't recall who makes it. Never seen one.

The Mosin and the Arisaka are the only other choices I believe.

Im surprised actualy that theres not to much out there for a cheaper price, for such an important war its kinda sad really. Well thanks guys I guess I'll stick to my Nam theme untill some of the ww2 stuff goes down in price and more equipment is avalible.

there never was any viable option for Allied bolt actions.. On the AXIS side .. there are plenty of options, a solid K98 platform , MP40 , StG44, all at very reasonable prices compared to a few years ago.

what ive seen done for a springfield is buying the real wood stock and gutting a vsr 10 moding the mags and sanding the stock down and droping the vsr internals in but again that can be expensive G&G is suposed to be coming out with a m1 garand....not a BA i know but it will be a rifle atleast

I'm working on dropping a VSR clone into 98 Gewehr stock (the WW1 version of the Mauser from which the Kar 98 was adapted). I'll let folks know how it goes.

The dumb-ass had a crony sitting right beside him. Why didn't he put a round or two through that instead of just cycling the bolt???
Looks like a nice rifle though. Hopefully it brings out the interest in a Canadian kit.
