KSC USP .45 system7, sticky slide

problem is that the slide is really sticky when cocking. the sticking is so bad that the slide actually stops when slowly returning the slide forward.

it seems that the spring guide is the source of problems since without it the slide moves with no restriction.

has anybody else experienced this problem? solutions? thanks!

I have the USP compact kinda has that issue,it's more to do with the hammer spring pushing up on the bottom of the slide when going back to battery. Somethings you can try that I did to mine was, better recoil spring and shot stroke it alittle bit. When slowly releasing the slide it still feels that way But, it gives it a more aggressive profile when going to battery thats all. The slide I'm using weighs alittle more as it's a Shooters slide,so I needed the recoil spring to deal with that as well. I'v been running mine for 2 seasons like this with no issue. Hope this helps & gives you some direction, cheers!
