GB tech- "Primer" is stuck in.~fixed~

The primer on the back of the grenade is stuck in.

I already had the grenade stripped down and put back together due to the valves leaking like a siv. Princess Silicon fixed the seals. One still leaks.

Anyway, first shot was a good one but the primer that you push to fire is not coming back.

Nothing is holding it there, the problem is internal, almost like the spring broke or the bearings are jamming it.

I sprayed and lubed it and hope it will fix itself by magic as I don't see a way to take apart the primer component.

Magic for me is a hammer.

Problem is fixed. Must have been sitting around for a long time in oat's closet.

Pushed it in hard to free the bearings, then smacked in flat on the ground. ~poing~ came free, worked it a bit with some oil and hope it doesn't do it again.

Going to leave the post here for future reference.

i have noticed this ''problem'' on my new king arms grenades. i am not sure if they are the same design as the gb tech,but, the fix for it is : if the grenade does not reset automatically, unscrew the two halves 1/2 - 2 turns until you hear the ''click'', then tighten the halves back together. be careful if you disassemble the grenade, not to lose those little ballbearings!

GB-tech are not even close to KA.

To reset all you have to do is pull a peg in the front.
When you do unscrew everything for oiling there are no loose ball bearings.

were you using green gas/propane or duster? I've found that this happens very frequently when using propane/green gas.

I occassionally got this as well when I filled as much duster as possible into the grenade. It was even worse if the 'nade was warmed up. Seems like it's pretty sensitive as to how much pressure it can handle
