Not a very good tac-light if you require 12 batteries to fire it up, and it only stays lit for 5 minutes.

Also, I like my tac-lights to, well, produce focused light, not list "scrambling eggs" as a selling feature.

If you read the disclaimer, it also says not to point at people or animals because it will cause 2nd degree burns in under 10 seconds and damage the retina.

They also list that it is not a toy.

Basically everything they sell is not a toy, but somehow advertised like one.

I recall reading on a tech site a year or two ago where some young adults in L.A. purchased one of their laser pointers, and started flashing planes that were landing/taking off. They were found and arrested (after claiming ignorance & innocence).

Apparently, one of the pilots they flashed had suffered enough retinal damage to no longer qualify as a pilot.

I don't know what became of that arrest, but considering the FAA would've been involved, I suspect prison time plus a lawsuit from the ex-pilot.

Yeah, these things are not toys.
