Then again, it's a government sourcing memorandum of understanding. They may get their requirements in order... and STILL screw up the most basic items. (My experience with government contracts are that they are very verbose - so this just kinda raised a flag.) |

I'm surprised they're not going for gas rifles as well. But I can't imagine the guys sourcing this shit are too experienced with airsoft. Looks like they basically found the "most American" company, went to their web site, and built their requirements based on that.

Remember that these government procurement processes can literally take years from the time they're initiated (need is identified) until the items are in the hands of people that need them. The KWA M4 GBBR may not have been available at the time this was initiated.
