LaRue style rear iron sight.

Hey all,

Since I need a rear iron sight for my M4, and that a CASV-EL is installed, it leaves me not a whole lot of room on the upper receiver to mount an iron rear sight.

I tried cutting down the original carrying handle, but the rear of it is exceeding to much that it's covering the charging handle.

I came across this Larue style sight;

I was wondering if that kind of QD sight had a roll-pin underneath it to sit in-between the picantiny rail on my upper receiver ?

Also, for those of you having a CASV mounted, what sights did you use for the rear dry sight ?

Thanks a lot in advance !

I have this sight (knockoff replica obviously), and if what you mean by roll-pin is that there is a bar that crosses from one side to the other to sit within one of your picatinny valleys, then yes, there is one.

Also, I really really like the picture you get with this sight.

Alright thanks for the info ! Looking at the picture, do you think it will fit in between my CASV and upper receiver's rail ? ;

I know it's hard to tell, but i'm putting the picture anyways.

Thanks again

I have a CASV on a KA M4. The Larue rear sight fits perfectly, it's almost as if it was made for it. Looks great.

Thanks for the info Fuzzy ! Will go for a LaRue then

@Stealth; Yeah if it wasn't the LaRue, it was either the 40L or the TROY that I was opting for.
