As much as you could compare the old version to the 20rds VN mags, actualy. The design is superior and is less prone to leaks. That being said, it still is a GBB mag so leaks can occur if they are not well maintained.

That much is obvious. I would expect the same from any GBB mag.

I'm not sure if this is similar to other brands and I really don't know who did it first, but I can say that this looks like the SRC AKS-74 mags as far as the 2 halves internal reservoir go. And it's really the easiest thing in the world to maintain and to fix, too.

My KJW mags are designed like this, and this is why I prefered KJW to WE. NONE of my mags have leaks, after at least 25 games and skirmish days. My WE G39 does have this design too, but the problem is the weak plastic shell though.
