Looking into a UMP

There doesn't seem to be a thread on UMPs themselves. Looks like people have them but not much to say about them? Basically I'm looking into finding a good company for one, and modifications/upgrades required to have it run well. (I own GBBs, never a reputable AEG) Opinions most definitely welcomed!

i had a G&G UMP for a while. sold it this year, and miss it.
the mags can be a pain in the ass to find pouches for, and many say the internals(mainly the gears) are shit. i did have mine upgraded with better parts. it does have a long trigger pull, but being a V3 gearbox thats normal.

G&G.
Pretty solid. After year and a half of hard abuse piston finally broke. Other than that no problems. All stock, surprisingly good range for such a small barrel. Not sure it would need any upgrades to be honest. Hopup is great.
Mags and pouches are little problematic to find compared to popular guns of course.

I have a friend that had a classic army ump for a bit. He was finding the same issues with mags and pouches so he sold it as a result. Seemed well built with a pretty decent rate of fire (9.6v battery) and the accuracy was better than expected. Just look around for pouches and mags before you purchase - hopefully someone has started stocking them now!

Someone should make a 9mm version of the UMP, seriously.

TT makes pouches that will take P90/MP5/UMP/UZI mags.

ya i have a CA ump but havent got to game it yet.....i had a DE ump that i was using for a lender gun and it worked pretty good....i sold it though. I love the feel of the ump. i wish someone would make a 9mm curved mag for it so it would look like the ump-9 from casino royale. that would be sweet

Alright so consensus is stock G&G? Also with a loadout I was wondering about that, what do most people use for mag pouches? I dont think you need much coming from a GBB player where mags were 30 rounds going to 70-500 in a mag lol.

Fit is very tight. In fact I don't like it at all how tight it is.

I love my UMG and will keep it till it's completely dead.
