CA or KA M4A1?
Well, like the title said, witch one would be best? I know a little personal preference will play a role but they are almost identical.
Either the king arms colt or the classic army m4a1, both feature; Metal body, Functional bolt catch, Nice trades, Good externals. As for the internals, I have no clue, is it worth paying 50$ extra to get my hands on a CA, or that KA with a great bang for the buck is still the best option? I'm not asking for you to make a decision, but if someone knows if the extra money is worth it, (the extra 50$ not being an issue) Cheers! |

The KA is an excellent gun. That CA is better.

Having held both a CA and KA receiver side by side, I will say that the CA is definitely worth the extra money.

The new KA m4 are beasts. They are both great choices

Thanks for the input! So far CA seems to be better, I would want something that will last longer also, so I think i'll get the CA, when it gets here with the fps fieldable out of the box! :P

Look for a X-series classic army, this is an improved version and shoots stock at 380-400 fps

CA has a real nice serial number/trades on its receiver.

Go with whatever model appeals to you more.

Both great choices, to be honest. Honestly, put in the same position, I'd be just as uncertain of which I'd choose.

First hand experience with both guns. IMO you should be replacing a bunch of the internals on either gun, so save the 50 bucks, buy the KA and put that money toward a new spring guide, piston/head, bearings and whatever else you feel like.

I like running my guns to breaking point before replacing anything, just m personal opinion to see how good brands really are. But thanks for pointing it out with first hand experience

having worked on both CA and KA gearboxes, I can tell you that I just don't like either of them
but that's what you get for scratch building your first gearbox like an idiot. everything stock just doesn't seem to hold up. *facepalm*
