Proper STANAG Mag Length (G&G or Others?)
Title basically sums it up. G&G's 450 round hi-cap mags are about 2cm or so longer than all the rest of the STANAG-type mags made in airsoft. From what I heard, as M16/M4 mags don't go as far in in airsoft guns, the normal airsoft mags are the correct length when in the gun, but are too short when not, and G&G hi-caps are the correct length compared to the real mags, but stick out too much from the gun. Is this true?

The top and bottom plates/openings are about 64 x 50mm, and the magazine is about 178mm from top to bottom.
These are quite rough, though.
