Is this a Diemaco Triad?
Hello everyone.
Just got this in a deal awhile ago and no information was given, it was just in a bin of parts included with the gun. It seems to have some Diemaco markings on the top, and on the front some numbers. Can anyone tell me if it is real? |

I can't confirm if that is real, as I know of someone who was producing replicas with trades here on the forums in Russia. However that is certainly the diemaco (now 'Colt Canada') logo and the finish and look lead me to believe that is probably a real TRIAD. Nice find!

I've never noticed a diemaco logo on my issued rifle but those serial numbers and the screw definitely look legit.

It's true that from the pictures and rifles I've seen, the logo usually isn't engraved on, I think these may be from new batches?
Here's another picture of a real TRI-AD |

That picture, mine looks exactly like it. I just realized it also has that little B on the inside of it as well. I think it is safe to say that it is real?

What you should do is; A) Lend it to Huang for a few weeks so he can have his replica wizards bang out a few hundred copies; then B) Return it to the nearest MP detachment, I'm sure the military would appreciate getting their missing TRIAD back. |

Only a few hundred?! I'm thinking the price would be little steep if they were only made in the hundreds, considering all the crazy CF enthusiasts around the world

It's a real one. They cost $75 bucks to replace if lost therefore, I doubt anyone cares if you have it.

there seem to be a few real steel ones around but I can never get a straight answer from any one whether this is a "controlled" piece of equipment. |

Patience is a virtue. Settle for a bit, if you want to do a solid impression, wait for things to come out of the woodwork. It paid off for me, one part was the prized TRIAD, now I am 3 very simple parts away from something so amazing I don't want to talk about it for fear of ejaculating on the keyboard.

And yes, it looks real to me. If it isn't, it's a damn good replica. In the end, it gives you the look, so it's all that matters.
