Shipping from over sea's
I'm sorry if there is already a thread on this. I was wondering can you buy and ship airsoft guns from places like the UK or Asia without having to worry about getting them taken away by customs?

Any guns you buy outside of Canada will not make it through the border.

Simply put, no. Also, there isn't a thread on this, there are around 10 a week. Since 2001.
Consider taking a gander at the Newbie Tank, a lot of Q&As in there. |

lol use the search! but correction, you can risk your money and attempt to import them, but there are no guarantees, laws against it and it will likely be seized. i decided to test my luck and did it once... with something cheap. got through, but i'd rather not try it again XD

On a side note, I'm thinking of purchasing a case of Mountain Dew from overseas and I was wondering if there would be any trouble getting it through customs. Thanks in advance.

Wow. I look away for 10 min. to answer a few emails and there's already a whole bunch of answers. O.e
Anyways, I support the guys above me; Don't import from anywhere else. It's just not worth the $400 you spend if it gets seized and destroyed at the border. My friend tried once, despite my protesting. $500 for a CA Dragunov: Down the drain. The company was kind enough to give him a partial refund, but don't count on that. He still lost well over $300.

so... let me get this straight.. this site has been around since .. Oh I don't know.. lets say 10 years.. about 100 people a week join this forum ( totally pulled that stat out of my ass) and you believe that there has never been a thread about importing guns from outside of Canada? do you actually believe that you possess such a keen intellect that you alone of all the people who ever pondered getting into airsoft .. you and only you have ever mused.. "Gee I wonder if I can buy these things outside of Canada?" well guess what... exactly 3.2 seconds of actually looking reveals that this very exact same question is not only asked about 15 times a week here .. which means that it has been asked about 8000 times so far.. but it has been more or less answered each and every time. How someone possessed of a intellect so clearly superior to your typical invertebrate.. such as you... could miss this.. is in a word .. astounding yet you are in good company.. clearly as it's Thursday.. so this question will probably be asked by one of your mental peers at least 3 more times before the week is out. to answer your question.. you can order whatever you like from outside of Canada, however CBSA will probably err on the side of caution and seize it.

okay I already new it's hard to ship airsoft guns from the U.S. all I wanted to know was can you ship from the UK or Asia. You don't have to be such a dick about it and I don't give a rats as how long any of you have been airsofting, all I wanted to know was there a way to get a airsoft gun that's not going to break the bank. I can't buy off of classifieds because I'm only 16, I wanted to try something new and do something more then nothing with my time. I've played Paintball but I dislike it....

Hey man,
With respect, you need to chill a bit. Some people on forums just get annoyed with people. Trust me. I've had my @$$ flamed out for things I've said; I get over it. Calling them a dick won't help. If you ship from the UK or Asia, the same thing happens. CBSA will seize it, destroy it, and cause you a whole load of grief. The only thing different will be the fact that it's seized at the coast, instead of at the land border. Next time, put that bit of info in the title; it might lead to more posts tailored to your interests or specific question, and less general madness around. Edit: Oh, and if you don't wanna break the bank, check around locally. Some stores will stock decent to good quality airsoft at more competitive prices. And always watch for sales. :3
