Question about importing gun
Hey fellas,
I was wondering if this airsoft weapon would be legal in Canada. Right now, I currently reside in the United-States, and a few buddies of mine have taken me out to play airsoft, and got me hooked. I'm looking to buy a gun, and found one that I like, however, I'm concerned it may conflict with some of the regulations about owning a firearm/airsoft gun. http://www.airrattle.com/G_G_FN_FNC_...al_p/20904.htm It's a replica of the FN FNC Battle Rifle, 1:1 scale, and from what I've read, replicas are prohibited, but I'm not sure since it has the orange tip, and isn't the exact same as a real FN FNC rifle. I'd rather not spend $300+ for a gun I will have to sell in 7-8 months when I move back into Canada. Thanks, Kieren |

Forget most of what you read about legal issues in Canada, start again here.
Long story short, you won't be able to import it with you. The crux of the legal issue here isn't possession but importation. However, pretty much all the high end stuff is available here if you are of age. |

Aw, that's a bummer. Are there any prominent sites/retailers that may sell something similar?

Site policy is to keep the specifics from non age verified people, but without going into detail, yes.
The only thing you can't find over here is the really cheap stuff. |

There is a lot of stuff you can bring in though, so it's not a complete loss. Look aroung for a sticky about importation, it should clear it up for you.
