Exclamation G3-SG1 opinions wanted!

I've decided to finally go out and buy that first AEG. I looked at alot of reviews, and i really like the G3 because I think it suits me. I will be playing almost strictly outdoors woodlot type games. with the hi-cap mag it looks like a pretty sweet gun that can shoot accuratly as well as lay out a good load of bb's when neccisary. i read a review on arnies about a failed attempt at modding a G3, and i want to know if anyone has successfully modded one (not that i plan to right off the bat, but later on when i get more hardcore into airsoft.) also any comments in general about the G3 would be welcome!

If that person failed in modding a G3SG1, they obviously didn't know what the fuck they were doing.

As for the rest:

No offence mate but make some sort of effort in using the fucking SEARCH button. God damn. SOOOOO MANY G3 post lately sitting right in front of ya and nobody does fuck all for effort to look for them. Im usually polite but this many G3 threads in a short time is fuckin irritating.

Anywho, G3SG1, works friggin great. Mine was modded, new spring, bushings, spring guide and a 6.04 TN tightbore inner barrel. Shot around 400fps on average and dead accurate. Could shoot & hit AA batteries with one shot at over 50ft away.

Very good gun, tho has some body creak to it due to its large size and fairly HOLLOW receiver. (too much open space in it makes a fair bit of squeaking noise.)

Enjoy, and use this little link more often. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/search.php?
Stop suckin on the tit.

I cant give you any technical input, never having owned one, but esthetically, I think its a pretty cool looking gun. With a scope, its pretty freakin hardcore looking. Just think about carrying it around...its a pretty long rifle. I know you said you'll be playing woodland mostly...just consider the length, etc. Sounds like a pretty good piece of equiptment though!

Not quite my cup of tea, but because of the size, but from the perspective of someone on the outside, it looks pretty awsome.
