Best performing full metal GBB pistol.
Alright guys, after 2 years airsofting I feel the irrational need of getting myself a mice GBB pistol. First of the pistol must be full metal, this and budget restrictions rule TM out of the equation.
So far Im considering the following models: KSC USP KSC USP compact KSC 1911a1 KSC Sig P226 KSC Glock 17 KJW 1911a1 Kjw Sig P226 Kjw M9 So far KSC seems to be nicer built and more realistic but KJw is more affordable. My question is: performance wise which of this models is better. Mag cost and availability should also been taken into consideration.

KJW are usually workhorses. Why are you considering KSC if you're not considering TM because of price? KSC are the same or more than TM's...
If you want a cheaper KSC, get a KWA. |

The problem with TM is that, as we all know, they are plastic made in stock form. Having to buy an upgrade slide, recoil spring, or frame is a expense that I dont want to get into. I post KSC's over KWA's because they come with trademarks. Although I could live with the uglified Umarex ones of the KWA USP. From TM I might only consider the FiveSeven.

Also, you're concerned with trademarks but have a low budget? I think you need to get your priorities straight. Which do you want, fancy and shiny and expensive, or works, less expensive, but still good quality? |

I had a KWA USP45 that was 'brilliant'. Big fan of KWA/KSC overall. KJW has been pretty good for pistols as well

Best Full Metal (where it supposed to be) Four Choices I suggest, 1) KSC USP System 7 or KWA USP NS2 2) KSC Glock 17, avoid Glock 18 3) KSC Glock 19 4) KJW M9 |

What about the KSC 1911 A1? is it any good. I like alot the looks of it. And good are the Sig p226 made by KSC and KJW compared to each other and to the USP ?

I own a KWA M93R, love it, great performer, nice to shoot, feels great in hands, the NS2 system allow me to shoot about 3 32 rounds mags, which is great.
Nozzle has the really bad habit of snapping in two I recently got a TM HiCapa. All in all, I feel the TM to be made in a better way. The nozzle (Guarder) seems to be of much greater quality, it's easier to strip down (My KWA's BBU is a pain to remove and I feel it might eventually break if I remove/put it back a lot of time; Keep in mind this is the M93R, not sure if the M9 is the same). When you remove the slide on the Kwa, the only thing preventing the spring guide/recoil spring is your hand, in while the TM it stays in place beautifully. It just has been thought better. I'm no specialist and got to play with only those 2 pistols for real, so keep that in mind has well. MP |

Don't wanna hijack your thread but I'm in the same boat but I was debating between the Socom Gear M9A1 and the Punisher 1911. Good or bad?

Ksc are the price as tm`s in the retail section. Although tms are plastic, you really can't tell, and they last for time on propane (one guy I know has had his 1911a1 for 3 years, on propane, still running like a chmp. Most people think, when they first see your tm, that's its metal. Everyone things my g18 has a metal slide. It part of tms game plan

I have a lot of pistols from cheap ones, to expensive custom jobs. If I had to suggest which of my pistols other people should get, this would be it:
KSC Glock 17 + metal slide + tightbore and you'll never need another pistol. Reliable, works great, deadly accurate, has stupid range, and never had a mag leak in 4 years. TM FN 5-7 completely stock is amazing too. And it's all plastic just like the real thing, so no metal upgrades required to make it look authentic. It's a beast of a gun and even in sub-zero winter temperatures it works like a charm. Great gun all around. KJW M9 is a great workhorse gun. Although one must accept that it's a budget brand, so things will go wrong. But after 3 years and thousands of rounds, the only things that really ever "went wrong" was losing the right hand side safety lever, and the mag catch wore out. Otherwise, the gun operated flawlessly The only thing is TM mags are hit or miss, and while KJW mags work great, they tend to spring leaks quite chronically.
