quick question, pistons to CA V2

I've seen here and there, that CA V2/V3 boxes have issues with some pistons

any quick and dirty what fits and what doesn't?

I custom built a shrike/belt fed M4 ... the initial gearbox was a SRC I had laying around... during a week of testing and 1 game day... only managing about 3K rounds and 2 shredded pistons .. I've decided to tell the src gearbox to fuck off.. (not completely the gearbox's fault... but I've had issues with them before, and it's the last piece in the chain of this internal redo)

got ahold of a CA gearbox and a few other choice internals (silent head set, torque up gears)

now I'm looking for a piston ... initially of course my first choice is a Prommy ... but stomaching $40+ for a piston in a saw is a little rough

it's not high speed, it's not high power... M110 spring, 3300 MAH large 9.6

so now I'm eyeballing a guarder or modify piston ... minimal metal teeth as possible (1-3)

I put a Guarder in my CA like 4-5 years ago and its still pumpin out da BB's not exactly sure wich one it is but it the one that come with their 120 tune up kits. And the seal is perfect.

So yes a Guarder will fit nicely

Which ever piston you decide on, make sure that it moves freely within the gearbox shell with all the screws tighten. After that, adjust it for AOE and premature engagement if needed. Going with less metal teethes will be great on your sector gear, but having at lease half rack metal will prolong it's life. I've installed "cheaper" pistons with all of the listed work, and I was told that the gun still worked after 2 years of heavy firing.
