From what I've heard, it's been shelved because of threats from FN herstal.

The WE90 and the MWE-5 would work fine. Pronounced as we and not WE, if you couldn't figure it out yourself.

WE Tech needs a better legal team. Sure they are getting threatened, but I'm sure there is enough law wrangling that can be done to get around those threats.

That wouldn't really work. Cybergun already shut down Echo1's manufacturing of their version of the SCAR because Cybergun has exclusive FN Herstal licensing.

Absolutely. But there is also the real possibility of them being able to skirt the law and get away with it. Just a matter of how much money and how many lawyers you want to throw at it taking the chance.

True they are based somewhere that copyright law isn't exactly followed, but I think WE is trying to stay "legit", as it were.
