D-Boy 98K Mauser

Can anyone tell me if this is a one piece ABS rifle or can you field strip it down to various parts like a true Mauser? If it is one piece how do you service it, oil it, remove jams? It certainly is a masterful piece if all in one. Must have been heck to make the injection molds to produce such a large one piece item.

Thanks for your help.

... Its not one peice, at all. Why do you think it is? It disassembles with screws.

The things a peice of shit anyway. Its a cheaply, badly made airsoft gun that only has the appeal of what its modeled off of.

Wait for the G&G c02 K98 to come out.

Thanks Strelok: Not knowing anything about airsoft rifles I was wondering about this one (D-Boy 98K) Cannot have a true Mauser here so this looked like the next best thing.

When will the G&G co2 come out? Where will I find listings to buy and what cost?

LOL.. Sorry Zepp, you may want to modify your profile to reflect where you are.
This site is a great resource for information, however some of it will be Canada-specific.

Thanks Matt: I found where I did NOT tell anything about my self. Having loss of vision in one eye it makes it difficult at times to see the whole page. LOL. The wonders of the Golden Age. Only thing Golden is the Dr's getting their pockets lined with my gold.

Mausers are import restricted or prohibited in some way in the USA? Strange.

Even more strange in that he says he's from Texas!

Is the Kar98K legal in Canada? I've never seen one, or known of anyone who has a real one.

Sorry to cause such a stink. Yes I did say Texas. I did not realize this was an exclusive Canadian thing> And if you have never seen nor fired a Mauser 98K, you have NOT lived. Nothing greater than to see a mellon splatter at 900 yards.

So are you saying true firearms are not allowed in Canada, only toy pellet guns? Tragic. Most families here in the Southwest have weapons to ward off wild animals. Some even could supply a small army if needed. LOL

No we have real weapons up here we are just not as liberated as you are in Texas, unfortunately we do have a lot of regulations and licencing to deal with, a lot more than what you Texans are used to.

Thanks wildcard. Glad you had one. Glad also to hear it is not outlawed to have a weapon system. Yes we are slightly more liberal in firearms here in Texas, but that is changang rapidly. With the boarder against Mexico more and more drug money is buying and having items shipped South. In some areas it is next to impossible to buy. Of course there is always the under the table items available for a price. And our Federal Government is stepping up the darn paper work for purchases no matter what they are. At one time to buy a case of shells was no problem. Today you have a brief case of papers to present when buying. Then the questions start. Why such a large amount. What is the intended use? Where are they going to be used and for what purpose.

Having a 9mm ware time Browning it requirs an act of Congress to buy shells now. Afew years ago one could walk into a store and buy several boxes, today one box if they can be found. Terror is the by word not. Anyone interested in a gun is a potential terrorist.

Thus the interest in a pellet airsoft Mauser. The internet does not list many varieties other than the D-Boy and I have ben told you cannot field strip it so have not bought as yet. No definate answer if it is one piece or several pieces. Been told till I am bue in the face that it is one piece. Being a retired engineer and accustom to injsction molding machines I cannot see hoe it is onc piece ABS plastic and show all the detail as it appears to show.

Thanks anyway.

To buy a long gun as rifle's are called you have to have a class 3 license, to own a hand gun you have to have a class 1 license. Big Brother is watrching very closely now. Assault weapons you will have ATF, FBI, and who ever else can get involved look at you wondering. Up close and personal for assault. Long range I guess not that important. Who pot shots at 600+ yards anymore.
