www.pdwsquad.com
That's the website for Regina/Moose Jaw and area. Also where most of the big games in SK are posted (they are usually held near Regina) |

frustrating
On one hand I want to say thanks for dropping the PDW link but then I go to it and it's not public? I've been looking for weeks for info on community and games in / near Regina and all I find it closed of broken web sites that haven't been updated for 5 years.
I really don't know what to make of all this other than Airsoft is Sask is either dead or purposefully secretive and aggravating. Even the Paintball / Airsoft field site is worthless and broken with zero useful info. I'm not sure if there is a legit reason for this frustrating "behind closed doors" style attitude but it is without question, frustrating, aggravating and what little I find makes the community past or present look cheap, amateur and lacking in care. While I know this will probably tick people off to hear I can't help but ask shouldn't there be an open public and positive attitude about this stuff rather than making it look like everyone is faux terrorists? Even on this site game announcements are from 2009! For the love of god is anything open and informative in Sask>?! |

Just sign up on the PDW site. There is an upcoming boot camp for players on Saturday May 18 at Paintball Paradise. There is also a Facebook group that is updated often as well, I believe.
The two places that are popular to play at near Regina are: -Paintball Paradise, just a 25 minute drive from Regina -Prairie Storm Paintball, maybe 30-40 minutes from Regina and just outside Moose Jaw Prarie Storm has an awesome airsoft dedicated indoor CQB field and costs about $30 per person. Paradise has multiple outdoor fields for $20 per person. The roof to the indoor field at Paradise recently collapsed but hopefully they fix it soon. Me and some buddies are playing at Paintball paradise this Friday but it's really an impromptu skirmish with about 8 people.

I've found Prarie Storm and asked about CQB days but it's been tough talking to them. It sounds like I need to show up and just "hope" someone has booked the day and there is still open room for another player, which is not very practical.
I refuse to use facebook and it's really frustrating being told go to facebook over and over for groups when I'm on fucking airsoftcanada.com. THIS is the place where these resources should be NOT fucking sites like facebook where I have to sell my soul. Hell I'm on Airsoftsquared too and it looks like I'm the only player in this freaking country! That said I can't even find a safe store to shop from so I guess finding games is pointless at this point. |

What the hell do you mean sell your soul? Just make a Facebook account, keep it simple and only use it to look at the Saskatchewan Airsoft page. And then you can quit whining. The reason we all use the Facebook page is cause everyone has Facebook. Simple.

Or just don't bother at all and save these nice people the displeasure of having to play a game with someone like you...

It is hard to find games in sask, but everyone uses facebook, suck it up, make a profile with your callsign.
I realize a few thousand Canadian airsofter's use it to find games. But I understand you dislike it. We shall all change and follow your ways... OR you could just not be such a stick and create a basic account.
