Smoking motor (How to know if its the gear or the motor ?)
Im trying to transform my old & poor Crossman NightProwler SA.
BB counter, digital hopup level display, new spring, new motor, painting... Just for Fun ! BUT before upgrade i need to fix. The motor is rushing. everytime i pull the trigger, a bb is shot and the motor make smoke and smell the rushing motor. So i received my new motor today and have the following question: How to test if it is not my gearbox that make the motor rush ? I dont know, maybe i need to turn the first gear that the motor turn and if i cant do it because it's so hard it mean this is the problem ? I dont know! Help me please ? Displamer: Remember when i said "just for fun". It mean i dont need a gun doctor, either a brand new airsoft. Just sayin'

Vas-y en français, tu utilises ce qui semble être un anglicisme que je ne saisi pas (motor rushing).

Est-ce que tu as essayé le moteur hors AEG pour voir s'il se comporte correctement?

PS. Don't try to hold it in your hand and turn it on. It'll fly out of your hand

You must have some pretty weak hands! I can hold onto a motor just fine when testing it.
