Help requested (Vest size issue)

Hello fellow airsofters,

I really need advice from the gear pros out there. I have a hard time finding a vest that fits. Just for the record, I'm a 6'5" 250 pounds dude. I already bought 2 vests just to find later that they are too small for me :banghead:. The first one being some ACU tactical vest bought from a china retailer and the second being this one: http://www.airsoftqc.com/store/index...&productId=393 (bought on ebay)

Could someone please recommand me a type of vest that won't make me look like an adult wearing a child costume.

I don't know if this would fit? http://www.surpluspontrouge.com/fr/m...et/coyote-tan/.

Thanks in advance to everyone willing to help me.

I'm not a gear pro...but have tried a fair bit of stuff.

How about an Aktis rig....the AMS system...or Hybrid battle vest? Their stuff is top notch too. http://arktisusa.com/

The adjustments to height/width are in the back.

Looks cool and not too expensive. Definatly an option. Good idea to look for a height and weist adjustment on the back.

Thanks

other ideas guys?

edit: I think I've found what I was looking for: http://www.cpgear.com/StoreBox/vest/1019_0.htm Anyone have exp with this vest?

Dude I have sold a lot of vests to bigger guys than you but what works well on mannly man size guys is a chest rig.

It'll carry your mags and offer dump pouches on both sides. the shoulderstraps will accomodate your height and allow you to set the pouches where they are comfy to draw from. The waist band will wrap around and secure it to your frame so there's no flopping around. these go around $50. from condor and you can definately go up in price from there, as every major Tact gear Company offers one. these are great for summer as well as you won't be sweating under a full size plate carrier.

That is pretty much a copy of the classic old school Arktis rig, an excellent rig, very versatile, and very adjustable for fit

It looks like a good option. Do you have something similar with molle insted?

Thanks

There are. Try looking at a Condor OPS chest rig. Mix/match pouches to taste. Downside is that it's frontside only. There are lots of molle chest rig options that are adjustable tho - I'm only pointing out one here.

edit: look up - that's an OPS style rig.

I want this one in coyote tan. When it's supposed to arrive? And where's the link to your inventory? Do you have some MICH TC-2000 ACH Helmet with NVG Mount & Side Rail do go with that?

Thanks Man

Edit: There's also this one that I like do you have it in stock and do you think that it would fit?

If you're looking for something with little bit more room or MOLLE space, I highly recommend picking up a surplus SDS fighting load carrier. You can get them at a great price. I'm pretty sure I saw one in the gear buy and sell a few days ago.

Tactical Tailor MAV either 1 piece or 2 piece with X Harness would be my recommendation. It's decently priced and is easily adjusted for all sizes.

www.cpgear.com if you want to buy from a Canadian company
or straight from the source

SOTech Hellcat/Tomcat type MOLLE chest rigs are nice too. The TT MAV systems are more affordable though.

There's lots of good options out there...I think I'm more confuse now than before. I've already looked at those CPGear vests. They look NICE!!!!

Thanks a lot again for all those suggestions.
