Is my USP KSC Japan or KSC Taiwan?

Hey guys

Id love to know how you can tell which version it is. It's the usp match. I need to buy mags lol. Also can I simply switch the Japanese mags into a Taiwanese version and have a lower fps? It's currently chronoing stock at 385 fps and I'd love to bring it down to around 330.

Is your slide plastic or metal?

And yep I went to use it last night at indoor and got knocked back at the chrono station lol. I'm still getting 3 mags worth of bbs from a single gas fill though. Gun is insanely good.

Generally with KSC guns, if your gun came with a stock plastic slide, it's a Japanese version. The Taiwan versions usually come stock with a metal slide.

And it's stock, and you measured with 0.20's?
Wow.

If the KSC gun is System 7 then KWA NS2 mags for the comprable KWA GBB will work.

I just finished a build using a KSC Japanese System 7 USP Tactical with a Shooters Design metal slide. The NS2 KWA mags for my KWA KP45 Tactical work with the KSC gun, and the mag that came with the KSC works with the KP45.

Welcome wurger
Been lurking here for a couple of years...original post was pretty relevant to a gun I just finished working on this afternoon, so I chimed in.

I Apparently have the taiwan version.

2 of my mags keep falling out

1 of them has small bumps above the indentations where the mag catch catches on the magazine

the 2 without bumps keep falling out.

I look at pics of mags that are for sale looking for these bumps, but most don't show that part of the mag.

Who's got these bumps and what brand is your match?

A picture will help.

The FPS is so high because the MATCH version of the gun has an extended barrel.

RA-Tech makes a NPAS for it to reduce the FPS to normal ranges.

1)Try downloading the mags; IE not full to the brim with BBs.

2)Try racking the slide and holding it open with the catch, inserting the magazine, and then releasing the slide.
