KWA M93R NS2 Problem (pretty much brand new)

Problem with a 2 week old KWA M93R. Only been used for plinking in the basement.
For the past few days the gun isnt firing correctly. The blowback isnt strong/crisp and the slide doesnt cycle all the way back. Also, it shoots full auto even when the selector is on single or burst. Once the mag is filled up fully, it only manages roughly 20 shots on full auto before it runs out and spews out the remaining gas. Earlier it could empty a full magazine on auto and still have gas left over.

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Received mine last week as well and just had a similar problem to yours today.

I was experiencing the full auto problem you have but when I was actually using the burst/full auto mode; it was, sometime, continuing to fire even after I released the trigger, then the gas spewing out the muzzle completely.

I removed the slide, cleaned everything (q-tip) and reoiled the slide's track, and especially the cylinder, which seemed to have been the culprit. When I was moving it with my finger it was not sliding fluidly at all, and making some "screeching" sound of friction against the green gasket inside.

I haven't extensively retested it after I reoiled everything, but at first sight it seems fine now, or at least it's better now.

So I'd suggest you take a good look at your cylinder's operation.

Note that when it started to happen, I was shooting a lot and had cooldown (the mag was very cold) and it was about 7 degrees Celsius outside. It probably didn't help.
